Your Experience
The Building - An Art Piece
Before you even enter the building, the entire museum's exterior is impressive. The ring-shaped building, adorned with beautiful Arabic calligraphy, appears to be straight out of a sci-fi movie. There are no pillars inside, and the open areas feel like you are floating into the future.
The Arabic words on the outside are quotes from Dubai's leadership about the future, so the building is both wonderful and meaningful. Please take pictures of this architectural masterpiece, now one of the most photographed buildings in Dubai!
Floor by Floor Future Exploration
Each floor taught a different version of possibilities for our future:
Space Exploration Floor
You will have great fun imagining what it would be like to live and work in space. You will be able to test simulated space missions, observe future space stations, and research how humans may live on other planets. You will be able to control the simulation and spacecraft, and have fun exploring the universe in interactive displays.
Climate and Environment Floor
The systematic challenges of climate and how we are mitigating climate challenges, or have amazing inventions and technologies, and how we can grow with climate. It was fascinating to see how future cities can coexist with nature, exploring the innovations in renewable energy that are yet to come. Learning about what it means if we had clay modelling technology to design our future sustainable worlds was informative. That each person supports sustainability and renewable living.
Health and Wellness Floor
Different types of treatments for the future. There are wellness technologies, simulated health checkups, and the discovery of personalised medicines, as well as what technology may aid us in living longer and healthier lives. Artificial Intelligence Floor
Meet intelligent robots and AI systems that respond to your movements and voice. Learn how artificial intelligence might influence everything from transportation to education, and try hands-on activities that demonstrate AI in action.
Innovation Lab Experiences
Engage in workshops and activities where you can create, tinker and play with future technologies. These hands-on experiences change regularly, so each visit offers a brand-new experience.
Virtual Reality Adventures
Try state-of-the-art VR experiences that take you to other times and places. Fly through cities of the future, explore underwater places, or visit distant planets - all through amazing virtual reality technology.

Age and safety particulars

- Some of the exhibits may have height or age restrictions for safety
- The museum is designed for the enjoyment of visitors of all ages.
- Interactive experiences are best experienced wearing comfortable clothing and allowing freedom of movement.
What to Expect
- All or most exhibits are indoors and climate-controlled
- Some experiences, when using a virtual reality headset, were completed in 8-12 minutes
- The interactive displays use touch, motion, and voice in response to input from visitors
- There are bilingual staff members located throughout the museum, and they are all beneficial
- There will always be updates and changes to exhibits. They are constantly evolving and improving.

- There is free WiFi accessible throughout the museum
- The building is accessible in a wheelchair by way of elevator access

- Some experiences contain elements that are visual and auditory

Important Rules to be Aware Of
- Photography is allowed in most spaces, although there are restrictions in some zones
- Interactive exhibits and VR experiences have safety instructions and exhibit guidelines to follow
- Please do not touch any of the exhibits - unless they are meant to be interacted with, in that case, enjoy!
- Free personal effects storage during experiences that require movement (gear, bags, etc.)
- Limited food and beverage service is offered inside.
Smart Tips for your visit
- Wear comfortable shoes as there are two or three full floors to walk through.
- You cannot take too many photos. Bring a fully charged phone for taking pictures and capturing experiences. Save one or two for social media!
- Start on the top floor and work your way down.
- Take your time with the interactive exhibits, as they are designed for visitors to linger in and experience.
- Ask staff members about any special demonstrations or activities taking place in the loading areas.
Best times to visit.
- The museum experiences fewer visitors on weekday mornings.
- Normal lighting conditions in and around the museum provide great photo opportunities at the building exterior, something to consider if you're there in the late afternoon.
- School holidays may be busier due to an increase in families visiting the museum.
- Check for any special events or recent exhibit openings.
Getting There
- Located near Emirates Towers Metro Station (Dubai Metro)
- Taxi, ride-share or public transport options can also deliver you to your destination.
- It's hard to miss the building as it can be seen from Sheikh Zayed Road.
- Parking is available nearby for paid access.
- If you are staying at a local hotel (business district), consider walking as it is very walkable.
